Agatha lives in the house used in the TV series Bewitched (1964). I came into Agatha All Along without any preconceived ideas or a behind-the-scenes look. So it wasn’t until I dug deep and watched episode 6 (?) that I realized it had something to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe – specifically WandaVision.

I felt cheated and outraged

After I got hooked on Agatha All Along, I stopped and had to watch WandaVision. While WandaVision has some critical elements, like Agatha’s story in All Along, it’s pretty tangential (and – IMO – a much smaller show than Agatha All Along). Well, I finished E6 and then I’m on E7-E9 and I really have to give the show credit.

The acting is excellent across the board, with Hahn as Agatha standing out

The scenes aren’t rushed, they have an original perspective as the show progresses. Most of the characters pass their tests and their growth is well done. The show maintains an engaging adult story without the usual sugar coating where everyone is okay in the end.

I would probably watch a second season

While I don’t think it was necessary to join the MCU, it is. And it doesn’t unduly spoil the overall show. Check out "Yellowstone" Season 5, Episode 2, “Squid Game”; Season 2 and more of the most anticipated new and returning series on TV and streaming.
