The city of New Rome faces the duel between Cesar Catilina, a brilliant artist in favor of an Utopian future, and the greedy mayor Franklyn Cicero. Between them is Julia Cicero, with her loyalty divided between her father and her beloved.. Francis Ford Coppola wrote the script in the early 1980s, but the film was kept on the back-burner partially due to his financial debts. Pre-production finally began in 2001 after filming 30 hours of second unit footage and holding table read with Paul Newman, Uma Thurman, Robert De Niro, James Gandolfini, Nicolas Cage, Leonardo DiCaprio, Russell Crowe, Edie Falco, and Kevin Spacey, but the project was scrapped after the September 11 attacks, because a scene from the script (page 166) "predicted" the attacks. Coppola fully abandoned the project in 2007, and didn't begin developing it again until 2019.. The security video of Cicero entering Ceasars office is supposed to be two different cameras as indicated by the small text in the upper left corner.

The spectacle of life, the manipulation of information, the commercialization of sex-all these are symptoms of a morally bankrupt empire, led by a decadent elite lost in excess and vanity. The only way out for such a civilization appears to be the reform envisioned by Cesar. He believes he can solve all social contradictions through his "megalon," raising a new world from the ruins of New Rome.

However, if there exists an exception, and it goes by the name, Dexter!From the start, I found myself captivated by Dexter's character – a dark, introverted individual. The strength of character development was evident, bolstered by impeccable casting and an engaging, crime-filled storyline.Seasons 1 and 2 stood out exceptionally, earning a commendable rating of 9/10.

The introduction of new characters and excessive drama weighed down what was once a classic series

Despite my love for the character, I sensed a gradual decline in its charm, including that of Debra.The writing and direction were solid, yet Dexter himself stood as the towering centerpiece as his portrayal of dark humor remained a standout aspect. His narration throughout the episodes was a unique perspective where we learned how he perceived things, people, and crime; it was utterly captivating.I recommend this series, but I urge viewers to approach it at their own pace and choose the number of seasons to indulge in. However, I must stress that the first two seasons are a must-watch and should not be missed.

International action superstar Jackie Chan is involved in a rescue mission for a beloved zoo panda named Hu Hu. Jacky may look old but he is still good in action, the stories were light, easy to understand and also easy to forget. But that’s okay. Lots of comedy, a bit silly but we had a great time, my 8 year old daughter really enjoyed it until the end of the movie. There were many scenes that made everyone laugh. Maybe some people will be disappointed because the panda cub wasn’t real, it was created by CGI. Trust me, it’s still cute and looks real. No actual pandas were harmed during filming. There aren’t many family movies released these days so I’m really happy about this. That’s it! I don’t know what else to say, I just want to reach the minimum character limit lol.
